The Community Officers' Association of Singer Island

COASI was founded in 1988 as the Condominium Officers' Association of Singer Island.  In 2006, the name was changed to the Community Officers' Association of Singer Island to reflect the inclusion of homeowner’s associations.  Our mission, "Together, we can draw on each other’s experience," conveys our goal as we endeavor to bring together the collective wisdom and ideas of the officers and individual members for the benefit of all.

The current membership consists of more than thirty condominium associations and two of the homeowners' associations (Palm Beach Isles and Yacht Harbor Estates).  Membership is open to those associations located on Singer Island, in the City of Riviera Beach, and the Town of Palm Beach Shores.

Our meetings are held monthly on Saturday mornings during the season, from October (or November) until April, with rotating locations in member communities/clubhousesAll current and past board members of our community associations are welcome.

Meetings begin with continental breakfast and networking at 8:30 a.m., followed by a business meeting at 9 a.m. Included will be community updates from the COASI board, a monthly featured speaker on topics relevant to our condominium and HOA needs, and an update and Q&A with representatives of the Riviera Beach City Council and/or the Palm Beach Shores Commission.

Each year, COASI sponsors an educational seminar that brings pertinent information and updates to our members. In the past, the seminar has addressed board member certification, ombudsman responsibilities, dealing with fraud and internal problems, to changing legislation.
